Export a model from Revit
Get a clean, self-contained .glb out of Revit for 3D to Render.
Revit does not export glTF natively, so use an add-in or a quick trip through Blender. The goal is the same: a single binary .glb with geometry and materials embedded.
- 1Option A: install a Revit glTF exporter add-in and export directly to .glb (binary).
- 2Option B: export to FBX/OBJ, import into Blender, then File → Export → glTF 2.0 → 'glTF Binary (.glb)'.
- 3Keep the model reasonably light — hide MEP/structural detail you do not need in the shot.
Always pick the binary .glb option so textures and geometry travel in one file.
